Jin Yong Park
MSRE CANDIDATE 2011
Jin Yong Park is a second year graduate student in the Master of Science in Real Estate program. Jin Yong serves as a treasurer of the UW Real Estate Club and is a member of NAIOP and ICSC. Prior to entering graduate school, he graduated from Seattle University with double major in accounting and finance as well as a minor in economics. Currently, he is a certified public accountant (CPA) and an inactive real estate broker in Washington State.
Since June 2010, Jin Yong has an internship position as a financial analyst in Choi Capital Ventures (CCV), LLC, a national wind development company, and his main role is to assist a senior manager with financial feasibility tests and to help Korean institutional investors understand wind farm investment processes. Also, he analyzes the correlation between electricity prices and natural gas prices in Oklahoma and Texas and is responsible for accounting related works in the CCV. Jin Yong is very interested in learning income property valuation and property management especially in apartments and retails, and he is excited to move forward his career in Real Estate field as planned. In his future, Jin Yong would like to connect Asian equity funds with asset acquisitions in the U.S.A.
